Principle Exports: Sarn Quintus is a major exporter of manufactured goods including vehicle components and weaponry. It is also an important source of manpower, with a large Planetary Defence Force (PDF) and huge under-hive population, both of which make for excellent Imperial Guard recruit sources

Principle Imports: Sarn Quintus cannot support itself and requires massive imports of food from the Calixis Sector’s agri-worlds.

Native Flora and Fauna: most of the native species were driven to extinction well before the rediscovery by the Imperium during the Angevin Crusade, notable exceptions were the various reptile-like creatures that inhabited the lakes and marshes of the northern continents. One of such species, a blasphemous humanoid race whose main settlement was located in the lakes near Thanras Hive was purged with extreme prejudice by the crusade forces. The anniversary of this event is a major festival in the capital. Others went extinct soon after the re-activation of the ancient production lines by tech-priests increased pollution levels. Nowdays only some bottom-dwelling fish and the great water-lizards remain, which interests some of the Adeptus Mechanicus, curious how they survive the increasingly hostile environment.
